Dr. Broughton is a global educator and contributor in several roles in business education and currently serves as faculty of instruction in the online master’s program teaching graduate students at The Boston University. Dr. Broughton’s primary role is educating students in management and project management while using core leadership principles to integrate scholarship and practice. Dr. Broughton earned his Doctorate in Management and Organizational Leadership from the University
of Phoenix in 2016. In addition to completing and publishing research on emotional intelligence, talent management, leadership decision-making, and retention practices, Dr. Broughton has been effective in converting theoretical understanding into daily observable leadership behaviors and practices. Dr. Broughton loves to learn and help others learn by demonstrating disciplined thinking.

Dr. Broughton is a renown retention expert skilled at enhancing the careers of organizational members above anticipated achievement levels. Dr. Broughton effectively integrates practitioner and application-based knowledge specifically geared toward retention practices to achieve organizational success. Dr. Broughton is the
author and developer of the (MRPM) Management Retention Policy Model created to improve the sustainability of managers and executive level personnel. Dr. Broughton uses a best practices scheme to ensure retention success in addition to
a conceptual framework centered on talent management metrics to increase the likelihood of workers remaining with the same employer. Dr. Broughton loves to design and implement a formal strategy for retention instead of being preoccupied and concerned with turnover in the organization.
